MKE ICT CONFERENCE
Over the past 5 years the Education Development and Support Centre has been inviting teachers from Moses Kotane East Schools to an ict conference held in Cape Town, Durban and Bloemfontein. It has been clear that our schools can not afford to send their teachers or to at least subsidise them for the conference. A decisiĆ³n has thus been taken to organise a conference for teachers within our area.
PROBLEMS FACING OUR SCHOOLS
- Inadequate skill in the use of educational technology
- Lack of exposure to available resources and methodology
- Lack of computer resources in many schools
- Inadequate content knowledge
SOLUTION
A solution to the above mentioned problem would be an annual programme that the EDSC is
prepared to head : and that is “ ICT Conference”
